The Sunmaster 250W dual spectrum is a HPS grow lamp with a difference. Unlike regular HPS lamps that are designed to put out solely red spectrum light for the flowering / fruiting stage of plant development; the Sunmaster 250W dual spectrum grow lamp has been tweaked to put out enough blue spectrum light to accommodate both the vegetative and flowering stages.
In recent times, dual spectrum lamps have grown substantially in popularity as the technology not only eliminates the need to buy a specific lamp for the vegetative stage and the flowering / fruiting stage, but it also delivers fantastic results that are comparable to using a separate metal halide and pure HPS bulb during these stages.
